CSR policy: Executive Relocations renews its Platinum status from EcoVadis

Ecovadis Platinum Medal Award

For the third year running, Executive Relocations has been awarded the Platinum status by EcoVadis, the internationally recognised business sustainability assessment platform. The company earned this top honour for creating and implementing its CSR policy and for the engagement of its employees in its sustainability efforts.

In 2018, Executive Relocations earned a Gold rating from EcoVadis, and in 2021 the company’s CSR policy reached the pinnacle of recognition, with a Platinum rating. This ranks them among the top 1% of companies in the world – a prestigious position granted by the world’s largest and most reliable sustainability and CSR rating organisation. EcoVadis has assessed over 75.000 companies since it was established in 2007.

Achieving Platinum status in 2022 and then again for a third, consecutive time in 2023 is a testament to the work of Executive Relocations management and team. The company paid special attention to improving the environmental and ethical aspects of its purchasing policy. “We purchase services and equipment with the highest respect for the environment and ethics,” says Elise Saillet, HR Manager at Executive Relocations. For example, the company purchased sustainably manufactured goodies, outsourced its green spaces to an ESAT (establishment and service for assistance through work) and replaced its lighting with LEDS.

Focus on reducing energy consumption

Executive Relocation's Corporate Social Responsibility Policy

Since 2018, Executive Relocations has committed to measuring and reducing the carbon footprint of every relocation they initiate. They have also implemented a strict ethical code to meet EcoVadis’ requirements for integrity and fairness, the ISO 9001:2015 international quality standard, and the EURA Global Quality Seal. In terms of human resources, the company is committed to long-term social responsibility measures covering integration and equal opportunities.

At the same time, an employee-led sustainability committee worked on reducing the company’s energy consumption. In particular, the committee drafted an advice code aimed at encouraging other employees to reduce their use of electricity and gas at work. Their aim is to reduce the company’s energy consumption by 5% by the end of 2023. In addition to these internal initiatives, Executive Relocations is taking the drive for sustainability to their customers and partners.

Mobilising our team around our CSR policy

The company also aims to consume less paper and use email more sensibly. “We are moving towards a greener approach,” Elise Saillet points out. “Mobilising our team around our CSR policy and making it a core part of our company culture is a challenge, but it has had a definite positive impact on our employer brand.”

Executive Relocations also intends to support community projects. Starting in October 2023, the company supported the fight against breast cancer by challenging employees.  “Individually or in teams, employees had to showcase a pink accessory, take a picture and send it to us,” explains Elise Saillet. “For each photo, we donated one euro to the Cancer League. We anticipate that even more employees will participate in this initiative in 2024.”

To reach the 2030 target of zero emissions, Executive Relocations will be drawing on the expertise of EcoVadis to define new indicators to measure their total ecological impact.

All these actions are part of the Mobilitas Group’s CSR policy, Executive Relocations’ parent company, which strengthens their commitment to protecting the planet for coming generations. These fundamental values are shared by Executive Relocations, their customers and their team.
